The Portland Theatre Brigade is a group of young actors age 7 to 15 from all over
the Portland area. A Brigade forms ever year, comprised of student-actors from a
variety of backgrounds and with varying levels of experience.
Members of the Brigade receive professional theater training from some of Portland's finest actors including voice, movement, and improvisation. They then go on tour,
bringing the excitement of the stage to area students... at no cost to schools.
During the season the members of the Brigade take on business responsibilities
including scriptwriting, casting, and stage management.
