In 1992, the Washington State Legislature passed a law that granted
high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take college-level classes
at community colleges to fulfill high school diploma requirements
while also earning college credits.
Interested students should contact the Running Start office at Clark College to learn
the date of the next Running Start test, deadlines, and minimum grade point average.
Admission to the program must be coordinated through a local, state-funded high school.
Homeschooling families are required to contact a local public high school to gain admission.
