Being part of the community band is easy! There are no fees. All positions in the VCB are
strictly voluntary. And there is a lot of FUN and enjoyment. All you need is instrument,
music stand, and desire.
The majority our band members are amateurs.
Members range from middle school to retired. High School, 8th grade and home school musicians are encouraged to join. Our goal: promoting the enjoyment of music in our community and helping revitalize the American tradition of the town band.
We perform a wide range of music: marches, folk tunes, musicals, jazz and classical adaptations. Our outdoor concerts are always free.
You can join any time. Auditions ongoing by appointment.
